One interesting use of Passiflora incarnata is making passionflower jam. Ingredients:
500 g of Passiflora incarnata pulp (seedless)
250 g of sugar
Juice of 1 lemon
The pulp is cooked with sugar over medium heat, stirring until thickened. Then, lemon juice is added, and after cooling, the jam is ready. It pairs well with bread, yogurt, or desserts.
Interestingly, in some regions, its petals are used to garnish dishes or cocktails, adding an exotic touch.
